Our development is going hand-in-hand with our expansion. As we grow and keep on-boarding Partners with bigger teams, we are addressing the topics around Roles and User permissions, in order to match the needs of modern team hierarchies.
With account security being our No. 1 priority, Business One Partners are able to fully customize user permissions within our platform. To make life easier, we offer pre-defined General Roles at Portal Level for your team, specific Roles at the level of SAP Business One Prod, as well as ability to customize whether user can access All customers or just the selected ones.
Partners are also able to set following specific Roles for SAP Prod:
Each of these roles is tied to different List of jobs at the back-end and will enable users to access specific abilities within ZAIP.one platform.
We created the list of permitted jobs for each level based on our experience and knowledge of your business logic, however these can be also customized to specific partner's requirements.
We've had ZAIP Remote Connector end user app translated to 9 languages to support all major regions based on our Partner's and their Customer's territory of operation.
Since we love automation, the languages in our app are automatically defined according to how the Customer's country is set in ZAIP portal. For example, if the Customer's country is set to Greece, ZAIP Connector default language will be automatically set to Greek. :)
Survey among SAP B1 Partners showed us that large portion of Support tickets from Customer's end users (up to 45%!) are filed due to non-threatening and recurring matters such as Closing sessions, System resets & Password updates. These can be all effectively eradicated by ZAIP Remote Connector app!
What can be done about it?
We believe in Self-service and giving more power to users, who can effectively solve all these issues in a few clicks thanks to ZAIP Remote Connector end user app!
Some users are not actively using it though, so Partners now receive tools to accelerate usage of this helpful app. For example, we introduced a system of ''Traffic Lights'' statuses (ie. Green, Orange, Red) to give Business One Partners better overview regarding ZAIP Remote Connector app usage.
With this information, Partners can see if/how the app is being used by Customer's individual end users. The more users get familiar with the app and its self-service functions, the less Support tickets come to Partner's Helpdesk queue!
